When it comes to custom work, my biggest requests are animals (Tangled Creatures). I’m very open to creating any animal as long as I get to use my style. They are quick and fun to do. They make great gifts for anybody and any occasion!
I charge $30 a record +shipping. Contact me if you are interested.
I also updated my Tangled Creature gallery of the most recent work I have done.
Adam, the drummer from Cooler, asked me if I could make a unique piece for his band. I was very excited that he gave me a drum head to work with. Drum heads were another surface I’ve always wanted to explore and now I had the perfect opportunity to do it. I was given full freedom of the design as long at the bands name was on it. I choose to give the background a free flowing organic feel. Moths are the band’s “spirit animal”, so I added a few to blend into the background.
Cooler is a Buffalo based band, who are up and coming within the local music community. I was given a copy of one of their albums, Phantom Phuzz. When I sat down to start this project, I listened to it for inspiration. I was completely impressed with their music and the quality of the recordings. The female/male vocals and instrumental pieces were amazing. My two favorite songs that everyone should check out were “Metal Moths” and “Pave Age”.
If you live in the Buffalo area, their next gig is June 23rd at Nietzsche’s, starting at 9pm. Please check them out!!!
As if May wasn’t busy enough with launching a website, I’m also really excited to announce the launch of my new line Vinyl Record Earrings. Earrings are my all time favorite accessory. This has been a something I’ve been wanting to for a while. The supplies have been sitting in a drawer for over 7 months waiting for me to just sit down and finally do this.
I’m not planning to make any other forms of jewelry. Some people have asked if I’ll draw on them. That is something I might play around later, but I figure if someone wants to wear a vinyl record, they want to see it.
My designs are simple. Each earring is carefully cut with a hot xacto knife. Then sanded and polished by hand. They come in a variety of sizes. Large earrings will be priced at $15 and small will be $10. They will be put in my Etsy shop during the week, but anyone can feel free to personally message me if they are interested. I will also accept custom orders as well.
Thanks again everyone for stopping by!!!

I’ve been hinting for a while that I was building a website. I told myself in the beginning that I wouldn’t need it and had no desire to ever build one. I just promoted my work on Instagram and Facebook. But I discovered through my experiences of applying for art shows and promoting, everyone would ask for my website. So finally broke down and built one.
It took me 5 months to build this site on my own. It was a wonderful side project and got to learn a lot about web design. I know this is stupid, but who knows what a Favicon is? Lol, I do!!! All I can say is, thank god for YouTube. I felt so proud of myself that I was able to self teach myself through this experience.
My favorite part of building this site was arranging the photo shoot for my artist head shots. I busted my ass off for almost 3 months to lose over 25lbs. My photographer did such an amazing job connecting me to my art work. I feel this site would help people look deeper into my work. These are more than just pretty patterns on a broken record. Thank you all for stopping by and I hope you enjoy what you see.
